KFactory, an Industry 4.0 startup from Romania, has raised EUR 600,000 to expand into international markets and accelerate product development - with SIF Transilvania participating in the round alongside lead investor Fortech Investments.
SIF Transilvania is a Romanian closed-end financial investment company - and its participation in a Romanian Industry 4.0 startup signals that the local financial-investment infrastructure is now actively backing operational-software companies, not just real estate or banking. Combined with Fortech Investments as lead, KFactory becomes the first Romanian Industry 4.0 startup to be backed twice and by both VC and SIF capital.
The capital scales the KFactory platform - Connect, Operate and the Team of Virtual Engineers - across more Romanian manufacturers and into DACH. Plants exploring this can take the free Industry 4.0 readiness assessment as a first step.
